Charlie (Valentines Special)(NSFW)
Charlie
(this is a quick short story I wrote for Valentine's day, granted a couple days later but Here it is. Just for fun and just for you. Definitely NSFW xoxo Kat-Marie )
Charlie wasn’t sure why her boss had called a meeting with her suddenly. He very rarely asked to see her, simply barking commands over an intercom or sending her an email was more his modus operandi. It had been for the last 3 years she worked there as his, not too personal, assistant. Mathew Fletcher had never been the personable type, he was always professional and always business. In fact, Charlie was certain that the man never stopped. He hadn’t taken a single vacation since she started here. Charlie managed to maintain what little life she had outside work, Mr. Fletcher never really demanded too much of her. That was, until recently.
In the past couple of months, he had been acting strangely. Leaving his office at unpredictable times and simply saying he was going out. He would ask her to do more, stay later. He even bought her dinner a couple times, when she was forced to stay late and help him organize his company records or what have you. Granted he said nothing the entire time and barely looked at her. Charlie was worried about her job mostly. Had she not been doing enough? Was he selling the company, or worse, dissolving it?
Charlie stood outside his office doors, phone and clipboard in hand. She had no idea what this meeting was about so she brought what she thought would be useful. Charlie tugged at the hem of her newest pencil skirt. It was shorter than she was normally comfortable with, just slightly above the knees, a soft pink color. Her blouse was just slightly off the shoulders, airy and floral. It was spring after all and Charlie felt cheerful, well until now. She never would have worn this if she knew she would be seeing Mr. Fletcher at all today, she tended to keep it exceptionally conservative around him.
“Are you going to come in or just stand there?” He barked through the doors. Charlie jumped walking into the office rather quickly, almost tripping on the threshold. Well, she did trip slightly, cursing her cute beige heels.
Charlie cleared her throat, tucking some loose tendrils behind her ear, she hadn’t even checked her hair. It was late in the day and her ponytail was probably coming loose.
“Mr. Fletcher, you wanted to see me?” she said, walking carefully to his desk. He was typing away at his computer and said nothing. Mr.Fletcher was an exceptionally handsome man, Charlie remembered when she had first met him. His golden wavy hair and pale blue eyes, his tall and strong physique. She had a massive crush, that was until she got to know him, or didn’t. Either way, his cold demeanor left her crush to fizzle out.
“Yes, sit,” he said motioning with his hand to the chair, but not looking up from his computer. Charlie sat on the edge of the office chair, crossing and tucking her feet underneath it as she placed her clipboard and phone on her lap.
His brow was furrowed, his hair was slightly disheveled like he had run his hands through many times. His tie to his dark blue suit was loosened and the first two buttons to his shirt undone. Charlie tried not to stare but she had never seen him look so human. Mathew finally glanced over and Charlie brought her eyes to her lap. He let out a sigh.
“How long have you worked for me Charlie?” he asked, reclining in his seat, clasping his hands onto his abdomen.
Charlie’s heart pounded, was her job in trouble?
“Uh, 3 years as of two months ago I believe,” she said, keeping her eyes on her lap.
Mathew watched her fidget in her seat, she was dressed differently. Or had he simply never noticed before? Charlie had been part of his life for three years, he knew when he had hired her. He remembered the exact moment they had met. She was always so lively and kept him in check. He knew she never noticed how much he looked at her. She always seemed so focused.
“Three years…” he trailed off not sure where to go from here. Mathew had been wanting to take things to the next level with Charlie since he met her, but it was hopeless. Every time he tried to make a move he botched it. He didn’t know how to relate emotionally to anyone. It was the reason his ex-wife found herself with another man, or so she claimed.
Mathew thought back to one of the nights he made Charlie stay and sort his files, he didn’t need them sorted. They were pristine, he ended up creating more work for himself after they were finished. The entire time he couldn’t think of what to say, all he could do was watch her. Kind of like he was doing now.
“Mr. Fletcher?” Charlie broke his train of thought. She was looking at him now with those big doe eyes.
Mathew sat up as a jolt shot from his head to his toes.
“Call me Mathew, Charlie. I think after all this time you should at least do that” he said gruffly. He needed a game plan, how would he ask her out without scaring her?
Charlie sat baffled. Mathew looked furious, why did he look so angry after asking her to call him by his first name. Had she forgotten something? Missed something?
She wrung her hands in her lap now, chewing her lip.
“Ok. Mathew, is there something bothering you? Did I do something wrong?” She asked nervously. Mathew studied her, she looked nervous, he was already fucking this up.
“No no. This had nothing to do with work...actually” he trailed, and Charlie seemed to relax a great deal.
“Oh. Okay.” She placed the clipboard on the floor and adjusted herself on the chair in a more comfortable position, crossing her legs.
Mathew let out a sharp breath at the glimpse of her legs, that was by far the shortest skirt she had ever worn.
“Let’s go out for dinner Charlie. My treat” he blurted finally. Charlie froze. Had she heard that right? First, he says to call him by his first name, then he asks her out for dinner? She looked at her small golden watch.
“It’s two-thirty in the afternoon,” she said, smiling faintly. Was he okay? Mathew felt himself blush, how could he not have checked.
“Early dinner then, common Charlie” he insisted, sitting up straight again. He was determined and he knew she would say yes. He was her boss after all. Mathew also knew that she had nothing better to do, social wise. Like she kept tabs on him he also knew quite a bit about her. He knew that last year she ended things with her boyfriend of three years and hasn’t been seeing anyone since. He knew that she has a small apartment in midtown and loved her plants like someone would love a pet.
He also knew that when she was angry the corner of her mouth would twitch ever so slightly and she would try and hide it with a smile.
“Well uh. Yeah okay. I could eat” she said looking shocked. Mathew knew he looked just as shocked. regardless he stood buttoning up his jacket and nodded.
“Good, well good. I’ll drive” he said walking around his desk and Charlie stood slowly. Was she dreaming? Why was Mathew so flustered? Calling him by his first name to his face felt so strange, everything about this was strange. She left her clipboard but took her phone and followed him to the door. He opened it and held it for her, Charlie hesitated in the doorway and turned to him. Without saying anything she buttoned up his shirt and fixed his tie. She had done it a thousand times before but it felt different now, he had asked her out for dinner. So now this was a date and they were both flustered. Charlie cleared her throat dusting off his lapel and walking away, she felt her face burning. She made her way over to her desk grabbing her purse and coat. Her computer was already locked but she went to turn it off anyway, Mathew stood on the opposite of her desk watching her bent over at her desk. He should have taken his time but he was out of his comfort zone, it wasn’t his first time with a woman. It most certainly wasn’t his first time asking out a woman to be sure. However, Mathew was sure this was the first time he had asked out someone he had been coveting. He had never coveted anything before, well he had never coveted anyone before. Usually, he just took what he wanted, generally, there were few objections.
He knew Charlie wasn’t something he could simply take, she had to come willing or she would slip through his fingers.
Charlie stood and caught Mathew staring when he didn’t look away she did. The crush she had for him before came crashing back like waves over a dam. Charlie took a breath to steady herself then smiled at him, as she walked over putting on her coat. He helped her, the motion was so mundane but it sent a jolt down her spine. Had there always been this tension between them and she had just never noticed?
They rode the elevator in silence to the parking garage, Mathew pulled out the keys to his Escalade. Charlie caught a glimpse of herself in the passenger window and let out a silent sigh. At least she looked half decent.
Mathew climbed into the driver seat and watched Charlie follow. He knew exactly where he would take her. He had been planning for this day for quite some time. In a way, he didn’t know today would be the day he sacked up and asked her out but he knew where he would take her when he did.
“So where are we going?” Charlie asked, breaking the silence. Mathew opened his mouth then closed it. “It’s a surprise,” he said finally and pulled out of the parking garage.
When they arrived at the humble fifties-themed diner just outside the city, Charlie couldn’t help but smile. It was so tacky and adorable, she had wanted to come here for quite some time.
Mathew was satisfied with her response, he felt his chest swell as she smiled. He knew she would like it.
“Shall we?” He said, putting a gentle hand to her back. Charlie turned her smile to him and took his arm. “I’ve been eyeing this place for quite some time. How did you know” she said as they walked in together. Mathew fought the urge to kiss her then and there, she was absolutely stunning when she smiled.
“You sit right outside my office all day almost everyday Charlie. I would be an idiot not to notice things about you.” Mathew murmured, getting the door for her. Charlie simply shrugged, as they walked in. They were greeted and seated rather quickly.
“I had assumed you didn’t see me half the time,” she said finally and Mathew furrowed his brow. They sat across from each other in plush vibrant booths right next to a window.
“How could I not, you were all I saw.” He admitted and Charlie’s heart pounded in her chest as their eyes locked. Was this a dream? Had she slipped on some ice on the way to work and was actually in a coma?
Luckily the waitress came over and brought them menus. Charlie quickly ducked behind the menu to hide her beet-red face. She could hear Mathew chuckle which only made her blush more, Charlie risked a glance and almost fainted as his amused glance met hers.
She put down her menu suddenly.
“Why are you doing this?” she snapped suddenly, Charlie was anything but timid or anxious, but her nerves were getting the better of her.
Mathew sighed putting down his own menu.
“I know I have never been one to display my desires wantonly.” He began struggling to find the words to say, Mathew immediately grew frustrated. He ran a multimillion-dollar company. Talking is one of the things he did best and he rarely stumbled, but right now he felt like a teenager again. What was he saying?
“And I guess, I don’t know Charlie. I' guess I’ve just finally decided, after years of watching you, that I perhaps needed to. Display my desire. Erm, to you. That is. For you.” He said, loosening his tie instinctively and sighing when he finished. Why had that been so difficult?
Charlie gaped at the normally stoic and slightly callous Mathew stumbling over his words like a schoolboy. She giggled, she couldn’t help herself, he was suddenly adorable.
“Why are you laughing?” Mathew glared and Charlie only laughed harder, she took his hand that rested on the table and held it.
“I’ve never seen you so out of your comfort zone, it’s refreshing and honestly adorable”
Charlie admitted and Mathew let out a sharp breath pouting momentarily. He was trying to be earnest and she laughed at him, although-he looked down at the hand she held.
He didn’t know what else to say. That had been a lot already. He ran his thumb over her knuckles now, he had never touched her before. Not really, aside from the odd hand on the shoulder or helping her with her jacket.
Charlie’s laughter quelled but her smile remained. She was on a date with Mathew! He had just admitted to having feelings for her and now they were holding hands. Charlie sighed content resting her face on her other hand and watching Mathew pout.
“How long have you felt this way?” She asked suddenly and Mathew, now growing more comfortable leaned back into the booth.
“I honestly think I was the day I met you, when I saw you, something struck me. You were different. I don’t think I fully understood what I felt until...later” Mathew watched expressions flit across Charlie’s face.
“That long? Really? But why? Why me? I’m just some girl” Charlie said astounded. Mathew snorted.
“Hardly, I wouldn’t be interested in just some girl. I don’t think I’ve met anyone as hardworking as I am. You’re the only one I know who can keep up with me” his eyes glinted and for some reason that made Charlie blush.
“Well thanks, I guess” she murmured.
The waitress came by and took their orders. Charlie reclaimed her hand as she picked up her menu. She decided to go with a classic burger and fries with a strawberry milkshake to wash it down. Mathew got himself the same but with a root beer float. Which also astounded Charlie, she would never have imagined Mathew ordering anything as civilian as that. Although she kept that to herself.
They made small talk until the food arrived, mostly regarding work. Charlie also talked about her love for books and he told her that he enjoyed scuba diving and wanted to take her. It felt like she was meeting him for the first time, Mathew had never said so much in one sitting. He had never wanted someone to know him before, Charlie brought that out in him.
The food arrived and they ate, Charlie couldn’t stop smiling. Every time he looked at her, her heart skipped a beat. After the meal and their plates cleared Charlie leaned back into the booth. She didn’t want this to end. “So where to next?” Mathew said before she could and she smiled at him for it. Mathew felt heat crawl up his neck but did not look away.
“Well, we could always just go for a walk. It’s not too cold and the sun is out” Charlie offered. A walk? Mathew shrugged “alright let’s go,” he said standing and holding out his hand to Charlie. She took it and he helped her out of the booth. After a brief argument over the bill, Mathew paid and they left, Charlie slid her hand into Mathew’s and he smiled to himself as they walked out of the diner towards the water. She was surprised by how natural this all felt, sure they had known each other for three years but this was different. It just fell into place. Charlie loved walking along the water, she loved watching the waves as salty spray flavored the air.
They walked in silence until they reached the water, both enjoying each others company.
Mathews' mind wandered, he had now confessed his feelings and from what he understood they were reciprocated. Great, what was the next step? All the things he would normally do no longer had any merit, normally he would take the date home and then proceed to dissolve any chance of furthering the relationship after intimacy. However, Charlie was different, Charlie was a potential end game. He couldn’t imagine his life without her. Charlie stopped once they reached the boardwalk on the shoreline and sighed looking out to the dark sparkling water.
“Mathew?” She began and he snapped out of his train of thought, she beckoned him closer. He inched his face closer and she smirked taking it in her hand and kissing his lips. Mathew swore he went blind for a solid minute. It was just a curt kiss but it was enough to put him on his ass. As Charlie eased away Mathew put his arms around her pulling her against him again, kissing her passionately. Charlie smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. She had always wondered what he would feel like against her, now she knew the man emanated pure heat and passion.
Mathew eased off her reluctantly, they were both breathing rather heavily. Charlie refrained from saying ‘oh my’ and Mathew refrained from tearing off her clothes right here.
“I’ve wanted to do that for a long time” he admitted and Charlie smiled as he pressed his forehead against hers.
“Well, even though it took you forever. I’m glad you came through” she chuckled and he kissed her curtly, letting her go with a smile.
They walked for a while in silence then decided to head back. As both had actual work to complete before the weekend.
Back at the office, Charlie felt strange, she kept to herself when her coworkers asked her what had happened. Which was easy enough to do. They always asked and she never told.
Mathew stayed in his office, not saying anything further to Charlie.
She could barely focus on anything, everything took her ten times longer than it normally would. What had just happened today, it was so fleeting it almost didn’t seem real.
Afternoon turned to evening and the office slowly emptied. Charlie rubbed her eyes, finishing the last of her paperwork and shutting down her computer once more. She was always the last to go, but today she was forced to stay even later due to her afternoon of playing hooky.
She sat at her desk for another moment, fantasizing about the kiss she had shared with Mathew, her boss! She smiled to herself faintly and just as she stood her cellphone rang. She picked it up without looking.
“Charlie, my office please,” Mathew said and hung up. He had been watching her, he had gotten next to nothing done. His thoughts were completely occupied by her, the smell of her, the feel of her. He needed more and it couldn’t wait.
Charlie stared at her phone as the screen went black again. Why was her heart racing, she knew why. He was making her heart race, they were in uncharted territory. Charlie patted down her skirt and walked to his office knocking and entering like she normally did. Mathew was leaning against his desk facing her, a glass tumbler of dark liquid in his hand. Charlie knew it was whiskey, that’s all the man seemed to drink, she couldn’t stomach the stuff.
He beckoned her closer and she obeyed, she wanted nothing more than to press herself against him. Had this desire always been hers, three years of pushing aside her attraction for professionalism, convincing herself it wasn't there. That he didn’t see her.
Charlie didn’t hold back; she walked up to him and kissed him like it had been weeks, pressing herself against him like she had wanted to for the remainder of the day, her hands against his firm chest. Mathew almost dropped his drink but he managed to place it on the desk behind him before caressing her face. Whatever thoughts he had before this were long gone.
Mathew pulled her even tighter against him by putting an arm around her waist, Charlie let her hands slid into his tousled blond hair. She couldn’t stop, she didn’t want to stop, not ever again. Charlie pushed him harder against the desk and Mathew groaned, Charlie knew she had set into motion a chain of events that would change her life forever.
Smirking Charlie suddenly eased off him, they were both breathless and flushed.
“Wait, did you need something?” she asked her breath ragged. Mathew gaped at her a moment, then chuckled, turned with her in his arms so that she was now pressed against the desk, he leaned forward his hands firmly on the table.
“You know, I can’t quite remember what I called you in here for. But I think the matter at hand is more pressing” he smiled kissing her against. Charlie almost fell back but she gripped his jacket, and in a fluid movement, pulled it from his shoulders. Mathew hesitated as she gripped his tie next, her eyes locking on his.
“I agree” Charlie smiled and Mathew continued kissing her as she loosened his tie, tossing it onto the floor. Mathew untucked her blouse and loosened a few buttons fumbling with the small fabric-covered things. Charlie had already managed to get his shirt off.
“Take this damn thing off Charlie '' he ordered and she laughed obligingly as he watched her cast aside that airy floral blouse, she wore a white lace bra underneath, it was dainty and feminine.
“Might as well take the skirt off too, since we’re here” he added, mindlessly licking his lips. Charlie stood, still flushed, her lips swollen from him. Mathew was a patient man by nature, but she was wearing him thin and fast. He watched her undo the zipper in the back of the skirt and shimmy out of it, kicking it aside. She wore matching lace panties. Mathew let out a shaky breath as he gently ran his fingers along the edge of her hips, then up her body to her face as he kissed her again. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and he was already drowning.
A shiver ran down her spine as Mathew caressed her, she ran her hands down his chest, lower to the button of his pants as she undid them with a flick of her fingers. She tugged them off and Mathew hastily stepped out of them, he needed her, now. Running his lips down her neck he stopped over her chest undoing the clasp to her bra and throwing it away as he took one of her perfect breasts into his mouth. Charlie moaned, her head hung back as her fingers entwined themselves in his hair.
Mathew stood briefly pulling Charlie off his desk and onto the floor, she tugged desperately at his boxers as he savagely tore off the remaining fabric between them. Without hesitation, he entered her and she was so wet, so ready. Charlie cried out, she had been thinking about this all damn afternoon. Mathew fought the urge to ravage her and slowed down, every muscle in his body taut with desire. Charlie was overcome by sensation, he filled her so completely, yet she needed more. Charlie forced Mathew onto his back bringing him deeper, he gripped her hips as waves of pleasure washed over her with every movement.
He was enthralled by her figure, he couldn’t look away, every moment sending him deeper into the abyss.
Charlie took his hands from her hips sliding them up to her breasts, Mathew ran his thumbs over her nipples. Sending delicious waves through her body as she rode him harder. She was so close, riding the edge. Mathew felt Charlie tense around him and it made him sweat, god she was beautiful. He sat up, kissing her as she writhed against him, the motion sent her spiraling as she moaned. He wasn’t done with her yet, putting her onto her back Mathew had lost all careful patience and moved fast and hard against her, holding her knees against her chest.
Charlie came a second time, so hard it knocked the wind out of her as her moan turned into a gasp. Charlie writhed against him helplessly as she was at the mercy of her orgasm. He felt himself dangerously close now and wasn’t entirely sure what to do. Before he could think about broaching the subject, Charlie bucked, almost kicking him off her.
“Charlie wha-” he began but before the question could fully form she had him on his back, her mouth on him. First, she licked his shaft then took most of it in her mouth.
“Christ Charlie” he moaned and she smiled, but didn’t stop. Mathew ran his hands through his hair as he was on the verge of climax. She was making it impossible for him, he mindlessly put a hand in her hair, her pointy tail long gone. “Charlie...I’m gonna--” he said through clenched teeth and she simply took him deeper into her throat. He came, now both his hands in her hair as he tried not to buck. She eased off him chuckling to herself, proud of her handiwork.
Mathew Pulled Charlie against him, he was winded but smiling, he kissed her forehead as they lay on the floor.
“Not gonna lie, this is not how I expected today to go. But I am not opposed to it” Charlie murmured against his chest. Mathew took a deep breath steadying himself. He couldn't have predicted it himself. He couldn’t have imagined every falling for his assistant, then having sex in his office? Who was he anymore, Charlie brought out a side of him he had never seen but he was enjoying it.
Charlie now propped herself up on his chest looking down at him. “Charlie, I think I...love you,” he said suddenly and Charlie froze.
Now she fully sat up and gaped at him, Mathew sheepishly followed. He meant what he said, for three years he had watched her and now it had come to a head. Literally.
“What? Mathew…” she stammered unsure of how to respond.
“You don’t have to..erm..say anything. I know this is sudden. All of it really...I just wanted you to know. I suppose” he struggled to say as he also sat up. Charlie watched his brown furrow as he looked away and she simply blinked rapidly. He loved her? But why?
Charlie leaned over and kissed him softly, she wasn’t sure she loved him just yet but there was potential.
“Want to see my place?” she asked and Mathew shrugged, smiling sheepishly.
“I’ll drive”
The end.
